Dr Bell graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2019 and completed her medical internship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. She has since worked at multiple hospitals across the state, gaining experiencing in orthopaedics, emergency medicine and general medicine. She has had a passion for Sport and Exercise Medicine since first becoming exposed to it as a young state netball player. She is currently undertaking her specialist training, working towards obtaining her Fellowship in the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians (ACSEP).
Tahnee is currently the doctor for the Perth Wildcats NBL, and previously been head doctor of the West Coast Eagles AFLW and Western Force Super W. She has provided match day medical support for the Matildas, Hockeyroos and travelled with the Australian women’s national Futsal team. She has been the WA registrar representative for the ACSEP college.
Tahnee is passionate about all thing sport and exercise and believes in exercise as medicine and that preventative health is key. She enjoys working with all members of the population and in conjunction with their health care providers to achieve their best. She has a focus on non-surgical management of sport and exercise related injuries, including acute sporting injuries and osteoarthritis. She has a passion for female athlete health, concussion, and stress fracture management. She provides a number of ultrasound guided injections across a range of joint and tendon pathologies and offers a variety of Steroid, Hyaluronic Acid Viscosupplementation (Durolane/Monovisc) and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) options. She also provides compartment pressure testing.
Tahnee is a self-professed netball tragic, and when not watching any type of live sport will be running, travelling or reading.
